Sponsored by Invest Hong Kong, ECHO ASIA Communications (ECHO ASIA) successfully hosted its highly anticipated Sustainable Business Luncheon 2025: Opportunities and Challenges for Sustainable Business in Hong Kong on April 25, 2025, a signature event under the company’s “Sustainable Lifestyle Series” and the first flagship event to celebrate ECHO ASIA’s 10th anniversary milestone. The luncheon brought together over 60 corporate sustainability leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers in Hong Kong.

The luncheon provided a strategic platform for cross-sector dialogue, encouraging participants to share practical approaches and actionable insights for advancing sustainable business models. Discussions focused on the challenges and opportunities associated with transitioning to a low-carbon, circular economy, while underscoring the role of corporate leadership in driving long-term environmental impact and innovation.

The event opened with a welcome address by Ms. Sindy Wong, Head of Tourism and Hospitality at Invest Hong Kong, who emphasized the city’s role in advancing sustainable business practices and the government’s ongoing support in enabling sustainable innovation.

 

Ms. Devana Ng, Co-Founder of Invisible Company, delivered a keynote on “Sustainability in Action – A Holistic Approach”.

 

Mr. Pascal Vieilvoye, CEO of Concept4 Group, delivered a thought-provoking presentation titled “Why Agents of Change Matter in Our Industry and Sustainability“.

 

Mr. Allen Yuen, Executive Director of Community Leap, led a thought-provoking panel discussion with Ms. Skiee Hui (Programme Manager, Jockey Club Sustainable Campus Consumer Programme), Ms. Joanne Zhou (CEO, In Lieu Sustainable Water) and Ms. Audrey Hon (Senior Vice President, Tourism & Hospitality, Invest Hong Kong) on the theme “Circularity & Leadership: Driving the Path Toward More Sustainable Business Models“.

 

The luncheon concluded with a call to action from Mr. Samson Tong, Founder of ECHO ASIA. He urged businesses to embrace innovation, lead with transparency, and collaborate across industries to turn climate challenges into shared opportunities.
